Former Mayor of Kherson Volodymyr Mykolayenko has returned from Russian captivity

It has been officially confirmed that former Kherson mayor Volodymyr Mykolayenko returned from Russian captivity today.

Mykolayenko was taken captive in April 2022 (at that time, he was no longer the mayor).

As reported by the media, in the same year, 2022, Mykolayenko was included in the exchange lists, but he gave up his turn to a seriously ill captive with gangrene, asking for that person to be released instead of himself. Since then, he has not been included in the exchange lists.
