In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defence Forces are completing the clearance of the remnants of the enemy salient towards Dobropillya. Meanwhile, the enemy is bringing in reserves and launching attacks again.
This was stated on air during «Suspilne.News» by Denys Kardash, the chief sergeant of the Black Raven unmanned systems battalion of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade «Kholodnyi Yar», as reported by ArmyInform.
According to him, the brigade’s units are currently operating from the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkovka area. In particular, they were eliminating a recent enemy breakthrough towards Dobropillya. At that time, the Defence Forces employed equipment, infantry, and drones.
«Currently, on our side, we have localized everything. Where we could clear, we are building a defence line. In principle, to say that it is critical... there is nothing critical. But there is still work to be done,» — noted the chief sergeant of the Black Raven unmanned systems battalion.
At the moment, Kardash points out, the intensity of the enemy’s actions has decreased. However, this does not mean that the Russians have stopped attacking. They are trying to consolidate their positions and are bringing in reserves. The Defence Forces are interfering with their efforts.
«Everything there needs to be done from scratch. So it’s difficult for them now. We are making it even harder for them. They also don’t want us to consolidate. Everything that flies is coming at us. Guys on motorcycles jump in. They abandon the motorcycles, gather somewhere. So, they have some plans,» — noted Denys Kardash.
