The nuclear facility in Kharkiv is under threat due to constant shelling by the occupiers

In Kharkiv, a nuclear facility is under threat, — The New York Times.

Russians are shelling the laboratory of the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology, where the «Neutron Source» and stockpiles of enriched uranium are located. The «Source» was shut down after the invasion began, but the uranium still remains there — and each strike could lead to a disaster.

The laboratory is situated just 22 km from the front line. It has already endured 74 attacks by enemy aviation and artillery.

The situation is currently under control, but a new shelling could turn Kharkiv into a dangerous radiation zone.
