A Russian UAV hit a residential building in the Poltava district. A fire started in one of the apartments.
This is reported by the State Emergency Service in Telegram.
The drone struck the building around 18:00.
The fire broke out in an apartment on the third floor and on the roof of the structure.
"Fortunately, there were no residents in the apartment at the time of the strike, and most of the building’s occupants managed to move to the shelter," the State Emergency Service reported.
There is currently no information about casualties or injuries.
As of 22:00, the fire had been extinguished. Sappers and canine units of the State Emergency Service were also involved in the operations, the Emergency Service said in a statement.
