Russian infantry assault groups have significantly reduced their activity in Sumy region compared to when they attempted to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory.
The Russian army is not using military equipment in this sector of the front, stated Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, during a broadcast of the telethon.
He emphasized that the Russians had previously declared the creation of a so-called "buffer zone." The spokesperson noted that the occupiers are currently unable to achieve results in the Sumy direction. Demchenko added that Russian troops suffer losses every day.
