NATO Secretary General supports Trump’s idea to shoot down Russian planes over Alliance countries

The NATO Secretary General spoke in favor of the need to shoot down Russian aircraft in the airspace of NATO countries.

«I support Trump’s statement on the need to shoot down Russian aircraft if they violate NATO airspace,» said Rutte.

As a reminder, during a briefing with Zelenskyy, Trump mentioned that NATO countries have the right to shoot down Russian aircraft if they intrude into their airspace. However, when asked whether America would support Europeans if they shot down a Russian aircraft, he did not provide a definitive answer and noted that it would depend on the circumstances.
