The enemy’s offensive plans in the Dobropillya direction have been completely broken, - military official

The situation in the area of the Dobropillya breakthrough by the Russians has finally tilted in favor of the Defence Forces. This has only happened now, as the situation was ambiguous before.

This was reported by a Ukrainian officer with the call sign "Alex" in his Telegram blog.

"I don’t know how many cauldrons there are in the Dobropillya direction, but it can only now be definitively said that the enemy’s offensive plans in this area have been completely broken, as just 1-2 weeks ago [the Russians] were counting on bringing in resources and achieving success there," the soldier writes.

According to the officer, the situation in this area was very recently "50-50," despite the optimistically drawn configuration of the contact line on the map with beautiful "cauldrons."

The soldier cautioned against excessive optimism and expectations that the Dobropillya salient will be quickly cut off: this requires a significant amount of resources.

"Most likely, they will be kept under constant fire control, gradually clearing every house. The main thing is that someone somewhere doesn’t slack off and allow the enemy to restore communication between the cut-off territory and the units that are there," the officer added.
