Zelenskyy: Russian troops suffered losses and retreated near Dobropillya


Russian occupiers attempted to launch an offensive in the Dobropillya direction to unblock their surrounded soldiers. As a result, the enemy suffered losses and retreated.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a briefing.

The head of state reported that today the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, informed him about the situation in the Dobropillya direction.

"Today, there were offensive actions from the Russian side - Volodymyrivka, Shakhivka, Sofiivka. They wanted to unblock their military, and as of today, they have already suffered losses - about 13,000, so they wanted to unblock. They suffered losses, retreated, the equipment was destroyed," Zelenskyy noted.

According to him, the clearing of enemy soldiers in Volodymyrivka and surrounding areas is currently underway.
