Lukashenko: Supplying Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine could provoke a nuclear war

The possible supply of American Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kyiv will not lead to a resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, but may provoke an escalation of the situation to a nuclear war.

This was stated by Belarusian President Oleksandr Lukashenko during a meeting on global international issues and the development of Belarusian-American relations.

"No ’Tomahawks’ will resolve the issue. This escalates the situation to a nuclear war. Probably, [US President] Donald Trump understands this best, as he is not rushing to hand over this deadly weapon and allow strikes deep into Russia, as President Zelenskyy hopes," said the Belarusian leader, as quoted by the BelTA news agency.
