Russia attacked Sumy with drones: railway infrastructure damaged

Russian occupiers once again attacked Sumy with drones on Saturday, October 18. As a result of the shelling, railway infrastructure facilities were damaged.

This was reported in Telegram by the acting city mayor, Artem Kobzar, and the channel of the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.

"As a result of the enemy’s attack today, impacts were recorded near educational institutions and railway infrastructure facilities," Kobzar wrote.

He clarified that windows in passenger carriages and the station building were damaged. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.

This information is also confirmed by the Regional Military Administration. They emphasized that the enemy continues to deliberately attack the civilian infrastructure of the Sumy community. However, Hryhorov’s post indicates that impacts were recorded directly "on railway infrastructure facilities."

"The enemy is insidious. Do not ignore air raid signals - it can save lives," the Regional Military Administration urged.
