On the night of October 23, the Russian occupation army once again terrorized Ukraine with drone attacks. The invaders launched dozens of Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
The air defence forces destroyed 92 UAVs. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, the opponent attacked Ukraine with 130 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of decoy drones. The Russians launched UAVs from different directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, Chauda - the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and more than 80 of them were "Shaheds".
The air raid was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, the air defence system shot down/suppressed 92 enemy UAVs of types Shahed, "Gerbera", and other types of drones in the north and east of the country.
There were 25 successful strikes by operational drones on 11 locations, as well as the fall of debris (shot down) on 11 locations.
