Ivano-Frankivsk region under attack: explosions in Ivano-Frankivsk and Burshtyn


Enemy strike drones reached Prykarpattia. Explosions were reported in Ivano-Frankivsk region during the night and morning of October 30.

An air raid alert was announced in Ivano-Frankivsk region at 04:30. At that time, an attack with "Kalibr" missiles from the Black Sea was reported, but for Prykarpattia, there was a threat of strike UAVs.

At 04:44, local media began reporting explosions in the region. A few minutes earlier, monitoring channels warned of enemy strike drones near the town of Burshtyn.

At 05:17, reports of explosions in Ivano-Frankivsk itself appeared on social media.

Be cautious: there is a threat of enemy combat drones for Ivano-Frankivsk region,– the regional administration wrote on Telegram at that time.

The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, also posted a message: "Air defence is active! Stay alert!"

New explosions were heard around 06:28 in Burshtyn. Prior to this, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported missile movements toward the region.

Burshtyn was shaken by explosions again at 06:39. Between 06:50 and 07:00, another series of powerful explosions rang out in Burshtyn.

Explosions in the town continue. At 07:35, locals reported a new series of explosions in Burshtyn.

Overall, an alert is in effect across Ukraine due to drones and missiles from the sea; the enemy has also used ballistic missiles, and there is a threat of cruise missiles from Tu-95MS.
