Three teenagers injured by the explosion of an unknown object in Lviv region: police are investigating the circumstances


An explosion occurred in the village of Sukhovolya, Lviv district, injuring three teenagers. They are currently in the hospital in moderate condition.

This was reported by the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Regional State Administration on Facebook.

Three 14-year-old teenagers injured

The incident occurred on Sunday, November 2, at approximately 17:15. According to preliminary information, an unknown object exploded. Three 14-year-old teenagers, all residents of Lviv, were injured. They were taken to St. Nicholas Hospital in Lviv.

Hospitalized in moderate condition

"The teenagers sustained burns to their forearms, abdomen, and hands. The victims were hospitalized in moderate condition at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lviv," the report states.

Law enforcement officers are currently investigating all circumstances of the incident and the origin of the explosive object.
