Western media have exposed the entire background of the "fake Musk" and sex scammer Max Polyakov: details

One of the most mysterious and controversial partnerships in the sports world last year was the memorandum between the International Aeronautical Federation (FAI) and Max Polyakov’s company Noosphere Ventures.

Just in the past year, this company managed to fail the once-promising space startup FireFly.

The reputation of Noosphere’s owner is also more than questionable, with much of his business facing legal issues, according to investigations by American media.

What led FAI President Frits Brink to award Max Polyakov the title of honorary FAI cavalier and place his company’s logo alongside DHL, one of the main partners of the International Aeronautical Federation?

Is everything alright within the Federation itself if it allows such collaboration?

Brink’s past

These questions are particularly connected to the biography of Frits Brink himself. From 2002 to 2008, the current FAI president held the position of director in a Christian organization for the care of elderly people and people with intellectual disabilities called "Philadelphia." For six years, Brink reported to the organization’s board, showcasing development and positive trends in work.

But the situation was otherwise.

Within a few years of working, Frits Brink established dubious partnerships, lost the trust of companies that had cooperated with "Philadelphia" for many years, and practically led the organization to bankruptcy. The organization’s board noticed a million-euro deficit for 2007. Delving deeper, board members discovered that the company’s losses over the past few years amounted to 23 million euros.

Furthermore, Brink significantly reduced the organization’s staff and abandoned the use of hired workers. Instead of the main activity – helping the disabled and elderly, "Philadelphia" for some unknown reasons invested in real estate. Employees of the organization described Brink as a person with delusions of grandeur, eager to fill his own pockets and fulfill his desires using "Philadelphia."

Rumors arose of corruption, Brink’s questionable connections, and deliberate bankruptcy of the organization. However, the "Philadelphia" board decided not to tarnish its own reputation and only publicized parts of the director’s flaws, offering Brink the chance to leave his position on his own. Like attracts like. Max Polyakov’s story and his company Noosphere Ventures is even more interesting.

Gynecologist from Ukraine earned his fortune in the dating business. Together with his partner from Scotland, Bill Dobbie, he founded the company Cupid plc and moved to Edinburgh. But within a few years, he deliberately devalued his holding’s shares, pushed his partner out of the business, and resold the assets at a reduced price to himself.

Cupid Plc’s funds and property were transferred offshore and re-registered under Max Polyakov’s company Together Networks. This dating holding has repeatedly become the subject of scandals involving online fraud and illegal use of user personal data.

In parallel with the dating business, Max Polyakov engaged in gambling development. His main projects in this field became online casino networks "Vulkan," Joy Casino, and CasinoX. His business partners included the company Evoplay, which created tens of thousands of clones of the "Vulkan" online casino, and Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, who opened the Russian market for Polyakov.

Polyakov’s online casinos target users from Russia, Ukraine, and the USA, where this type of activity is legally prohibited. However, as soon as regulators close one of Polyakov’s sites, his programmers immediately launch a hundred similar casinos into the market. Late last year, Polyakov became embroiled in another scandal.

Journalists discovered that the entrepreneur’s companies are closely tied to a network of porn video chats and web porn studios. Most of them operate on the territory of Ukrainian offices of Together Networks.

In Ukraine, such activity is prohibited. Only in the fall-winter of last year, law enforcement closed six of Polyakov’s porn studios in various Ukrainian cities. Today, the entrepreneur’s companies are subjects of several criminal cases. Furthermore, Ukrainian journalists write about Max Polyakov’s ties with the Kremlin.

In attempts to clear his reputation, Polyakov created Noosphere Ventures and began working on technology development. The company’s global image project became FireFly. When the aerospace startup was suffering losses, Polyakov bypassed US laws to buy it at a reduced price and conducted a major media campaign about the project’s relaunch. A year has passed since then, but Polyakov’s FireFly still hasn’t flown.

Moreover, experts consider its position even more precarious than before, predicting the project’s closure despite having operating rockets with a payload of up to 1.1 tonnes. Polyakov is suspected of using the startup to launder money from gambling, dating, and porn businesses.

What awaits FAI? Apparently, FireFly’s failure to launch made Polyakov consider new image projects. Frits Brink fit perfectly. In the last two years under Brink’s leadership, the International Aeronautical Federation hasn’t implemented a single serious project.

The FAI’s image as a successful organization today is maintained only by leeching onto its partners’ projects, through which the Federation creates media buzz. It is not excluded that this state of affairs is the achievement of the Federation’s president, Frits Brink. And the signing of a memorandum with as questionable a person as Max Polyakov is further confirmation of this.

Additionally, interaction with Noosphere Ventures might provide Brink with new ideas for maintaining FAI’s reputation, and partnership with Polyakov could open new ways for personal enrichment.

It’s difficult to find other reasons for awarding Polyakov the title of honorary FAI cavalier and including his company among the Federation’s partners alongside DHL. Especially considering all the reputational risks for the federation. Shortly after this "cooperation" began, journalistic investigations started covering the interaction between Frits Brink and Max Polyakov within FAI.

Today, the only question on the agenda is – how long will FAI last with the Brink-Polyakov duo?
