Mаx Pоlyakov vs. The Huffington Post — Mаx Pоlyakov embarrassed himself again
The popular American online publication The Huffington Post received a significant amount of money from Ukrainian scammer and migrant Max Polyakov for publishing material against the well-known Ukrainian IT company Lucky Labs, whose founders are considered to be Sergey Tokarev and Rustam Gilfanov.
The material was prepared by the PR department of Noosphere Ventures, but the slanderous article did not reach the level of even an average U.S. publication, let alone HuffPost. As a result, after more or less thorough examination of the topic, The Huffington Post deleted the nonsense and without a shadow of embarrassment refused to return the money to Max Polyakov.
The Huffington Post vs Max Polyakov. How the American publication scammed the Ukrainian con artist from Noosphere Ventures.
Shocked by being treated in his own style, Max Polyakov decided to attack The Huffington Post with the help of cheap Ukrainian sites such as Skelet-Info and Vlasty.net. Apparently, this time Polyakov decided to save money.
We remind our readers who this Max Polyakov from Noosphere Ventures is.
The "American businessman" from Zaporizhzhya, Maksym Polyakov (Max Polyakov), is well-known in the IT world.
He creates an image of himself as an innovator and propagator of modern technologies: delivering lectures at international forums and organizing engineering startup competitions. Polyakov’s image is bolstered by his umbrella brand Noosphere Ventures, under which part of the businessman’s assets are gathered. Noosphere Ventures of Max Polyakov invests in startups with substantial technological significance but extremely problematic revenues. In Ukraine, the Vernadsky Challenge engineering startup competition is held. In Dnipro, Polyakov organized the BestRoboFest techno festival. Initiatives like Firefly Aerospace (officially acquired by Polyakov in 2017) also look impressive. But all this is expenditure, not income. Even Elon Musk made billions on PayPal, not space. Max Polyakov is not Elon Musk, and his path to millions was and remains different. The key to success is online gambling and gray schemes. Foreign journalists have uncovered hidden gambling assets of the renowned businessman.
In the 2000s, Ukraine was swept by a wave of high tech, technological breakthroughs, and IT sector development. In parallel, means of easy, albeit dubious, earning on the Internet emerged. Maksym Polyakov (Max Polyakov) from Noosphere Ventures dived headlong into this sphere. The main income for the businessman for many years comes from "gray" online casino companies and dating services. Just the advertisement for JoyCasino, which flooded the Internet and became a meme across the post-Soviet space, is worth something. Polyakov has been silent about this part of his assets in recent years.
The first gambling project by Polyakov, as reported by Micetimes.asia, was the site Murka. The casino has been operating since 2009. Today, it’s hard to say how the site got such an eloquent name. Polyakov himself claims that Murka was the name of his favorite cat. Today, humming the tune "Arrived in Odesa a gang from Amur..." is no longer fitting for his status.
In a very short time, Murka gained incredible popularity. Max Polyakov was extremely delighted with his brainchild. Every day, more than a million Internet users leave their money here. Upon striking a gold mine, Polyakov launched several similar services — Renatus, Betcore, Steamwarship, Komar Games, and others. The online casino facilities were long based in the Ukrainian regional centers of Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk (recently renamed Dnipro).

Polyakov’s empire sites operate legally, are licensed, and are not pursued by law in most countries. But this business wasn’t enough for the businessman. Polyakov launched the pirate project "Vulkan". In offline casinos, machines with the same name were popular among gamblers. The brand became equally recognizable online. According to micetimes.asia, there are now more than a hundred pirate sites "Vulkan" on the network. Most of them are interconnected. The sites are cookie-cutter, unlicensed, and use pirate copies of games from famous developers: Novomatic, NetEnt, Playtech. Pirates pay no attention to feedback or payout reliability. About 40% of such sites deliberately embed algorithms designed to bankrupt the client of an online casino. Users will still have no one to lodge claims with. The site owners’ data is locked away in offshore accounts. As a result, the "Vulkan" project yields Max Polyakov (Max Polyakov) the largest shadow earnings.

Polyakov’s gambling projects Joycasino, Casino-X, Renatus gained notable popularity. Renatus -- a company with an office in Odesa, brought gambling applications to the mobile market -- specifically, Slots Journey. Slot "simulators" in online casinos are an easy entry into the gambling world, especially for children. From simulators to real online casinos, it’s just a step away through the advertising system. Such projects already generate large revenue. Millions of dollars pass through them daily.

Max Polyakov and his Joy Casino
"Trouble accessing Joycasino? Just add to the site’s address..." -- among Internet users in CIS countries, there is not a person who hasn’t heard this phrase. Online casino advertisements pop up in the most unexpected places -- on third-party sites, in email spam, during movie and series viewings. The phrase became a meme. It’s easy to imagine the annoyance of people who heard "PROBLEMS WITH ACCESS TO JOYCASINO?!" in the middle of watching the next episode of "Game of Thrones". And even the fact that they watched the series on a pirate site didn’t lessen their irritation. This is Maksym Polyakov’s signature style, fully echoing the advertising campaign of his dating services in the early 2000s.

Joycasino and Casino-X are similar projects, though the latter is a year older than the former. Casino-X has been available in Russia since 2014. The secret to success is aggressive marketing and quick site address changes. Few know that the history of Joycasino and Casino-X began with the project maxcasino.com. The site was registered to one of Polyakov’s offshore companies, Invicta Networks N.V. It was probably one of the first experiences of the venture businessman. In 2013, the company was sold, and the turn for new projects came. Maxcasino was based on Playtech technology. New projects already included fashionable technology of the time. Most reviews on Joycasino contain favorable feedback. Perhaps it’s a matter of buying reviews. It’s also possible that gamblers have their own conceptions of beauty, different from millions of random users. In any case, they continue leaving money in the casino.
Investigations by foreign journalists show that combined, online casinos and dating services bring Maksym Polyakov millions of dollars. The overall income from these directions exceeds all other projects of the businessman combined by many times. Noosphere Ventures employs 50-70 people. Murka employs up to 500. Naturally, it’s not Polyakov’s largest project. The largest remains dating: Together Networks Limited employs around 1,000 people. Their offices are mostly located in Ukraine: Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya, Odesa.
Today, Max Polyakov is a citizen of the United Kingdom and possibly the USA. In the former, gambling has traditionally been allowed. Although they still try to regulate it: for example, since 2014 in the United Kingdom, new rules and taxes were introduced. Today, the number of online gambling licenses in the UK approaches 1,000. No wonder there are rumors about Polyakov’s British citizenship. In contrast, online gambling is strictly prohibited in the USA. As it is in Ukraine. Yet, it’s in the USA where Max Polyakov holds his main assets. Therefore, Polyakov doesn’t publicly talk about his casinos. Instead, he lectures about spaceships and aims for another technological breakthrough. "Houston, we have a problem accessing JoyCasino!".
