The number of Ukrainians who believe the country is moving in the right direction has dropped to 41%, almost equal to the number of those who hold the opposite opinion (38%).
This is evidenced by survey data from the Razumkov Center.
It is noted that the highest number of people who believed that events were developing in the right direction was exactly a year ago. And since then this figure has been constantly decreasing.
33% believe that Ukraine is able to overcome existing problems in the next few years, 42% believe that this is possible in the longer term. 9% don’t believe in it at all.
Most of all, Ukrainians are concerned about prices, tariffs, the economic situation of the country (67.8% believe that it has worsened over the year), its future prospects, the well-being of families, and the attitude towards the authorities.
46% said that the government’s attitude towards citizens had worsened, and 41.5% said that officials had become less observant of the law.
But 51% believe that the country’s defense capability and its international image have improved.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine enjoy the greatest trust (66.3% completely trust, 28.6% rather trust). 21% completely trust the president, 43.1% rather trust him.
