Russian opposition leader Oleksiy Navalnyi died in prison

The Federal Penitentiary Service reported Navalnyi’s death in the colony

"Convicted Oleksiy Navalnyi felt unwell after a walk, almost immediately fainting. The medical staff of the institution immediately arrived, and an ambulance was called. All the necessary resuscitation measures were carried out, but they did not give positive results. The paramedics pronounced the convict death. The cause of death is being established," the Penitentiary Service said in a statement.
