Ukrainian drones, analogues of the Lancets, have passed preliminary tests and are preparing for the first combat tests.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on the Diya channel on YouTube.

Drones from four companies have been tested in recent days.

Of the four drones, two were successfully tested.

Fedorov noted that in the next few months it will be possible to organize the production of about 100 such drones per month.

"Lancet" allows you to increase the range of destruction of equipment, it operates at 30-40 km, FPV drones operate at 10-20 km.

Another advantage of the Lancet-type drone is that it can operate during the day, because large quadcopters can only operate under the cover of night.

Such drones are controlled via a video channel, allowing them to direct and correct movement in the event of a defeat.

In addition, such drones have a target acquisition function, which allows them to aim at the target in the last 300-500 meters before hitting the target without direct communication with the drone.

Mikhailo Fedorov also noted the need to introduce a market for such drones.

“This is a technological product, so it was impossible to launch it immediately, it was necessary to launch the market... and now we have the result,” the Deputy Prime Minister noted.

“2-3 products will appear on the market that compete with each other; in a year there will be a dozen such companies,” he added.

The next step will be testing on the battlefield.
