The bodies of another 100 dead soldiers were returned to Ukraine

On Friday, March 15, the bodies of 100 dead defenders were returned to Ukraine. After identification, they will be handed over to their relatives for burial.

“Another repatriation measure took place, as a result of which 100 dead defenders of Ukraine were returned to Ukraine,” the message says.

It is reported that the fallen defenders were returned thanks to the interaction of employees of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War with the Joint Center under the SSU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and other representatives of the security and defense sector structures. The Coordination Headquarters expressed special gratitude with the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine ensure the transportation of repatriated bodies and remains to certain government institutions for transfer to law enforcement officials and forensic experts to identify the identities of the dead. The bodies of our defenders, after identification, will be handed over to families for a dignified burial,” the Coordination Headquarters emphasized.
