
On the night of March 18, Russia launched a missile strike on the fire department of a border settlement in the Kharkiv region, resulting in a casualty.
This was reported in the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
As a result of the impact, the fire department building was damaged (windows, doors, gates were broken, the roof and façade were damaged). Four fire and rescue vehicles were also damaged.
“There were 11 rescuers on duty at the fire station, one of whom suffered a hand injury. This is a rescue driver from the local fire and rescue unit. Medical assistance was provided to him on the spot,” the State Emergency Service reported.
