
To protect buyers from unscrupulous sellers, bill No. 10216 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This document proposes to introduce fines for falsifying the mileage of used vehicles.
The bill proposes a fine for falsifying the mileage of a used car for the purpose of selling it. The fine will range from 500 to 1000 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens. That is, it will reach 8,500 – 17,000 UAH.
The explanatory note to the bill states that the practice of falsifying the mileage of a used vehicle during sale is quite common. This negatively affects the used vehicle market, misleads buyers and harms their property interests.
How can drivers pay fines for traffic violations?
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announced the resumption of the possibility of paying fines for administrative traffic violations recorded by automatic recording systems.
