Russians reported a turnout of almost 90% in the presidential elections in the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions of Ukraine.

This is evidenced by published statistics from local election commissions.

Thus, the Russians said that the final turnout in the presidential elections in the occupied territory of Donbas reached 88.25%, in the Luhansk region - 87.12%, in Zaporizhzhya - 85.2%, in the Kherson region - 83.87%. Of course, the majority seemed to vote for the current President of the Russian Federation, Volodymyr Putin.

The Russians announced such a huge turnout in Ukrainian regions, where due to the war there is no significant part, or even half of the population, where entire cities are destroyed and empty.

“This is good. The more absurd, the better. No one should have doubts that they really vote and count something,” Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazanskyi expressed his opinion.
