Canada provided $1.5 billion in financial assistance to Ukraine
Ukraine received $1.5 billion from Canada, which will help the Government finance the deficit, including social programs to help Ukrainians.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported this on Telegram .
“Important funds that will help our Government finance the deficit, in particular, social programs to help Ukrainians,” Shmyhal wrote.
He noted that the total amount of financial support from Canada since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion is about 7 billion Canadian dollars.
