The Russian military carried out five air strikes and 12 shelling attacks in Sumy region at night and in the morning of 21 March. The Khotyn, Bilopillya, Krasnopillya, Velykopysarivska, and Seredyno-Budska communities were shelled.
This was reported in the Sumy RMA.
Let us remind you that Russian troops virtually daily shell settlements in the Sumy region from various types of weapons.
The day before, the head of the RMA, Volodymyr Artyukh, spoke on Radio Liberty about possible threats.
“Today we have data that allows us to say that there is a great advantage relative to our Armed Forces, which would allow us to say that there are such possible actions of the enemy... I would not assess it that way. Knowing both our forces and knowing the forces of the enemy, that’s why today such a danger does not exist. This concerns the ground. The biggest danger in our region is air and missile attacks, which have become much more intense on our infrastructure," Artyukh said.
Also, 22 settlements are already without local residents. They went to safe places, and control over them was fully transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters.
