Prosecutors will apologize to the accused if their guilt is not proven

This is stated in the new bill submitted to the Rada.

With the bill they want to introduce a new concept in criminal proceedings - a public apology from the prosecutor. Prosecutors will apologize within 30 days from the moment the criminal proceedings are closed.

A public apology will be made public on the official website of the Office of the Attorney General.
