
On the night of March 27, Russia fired 13 Shaheds across Ukraine. Ukrainian air defence destroyed 10 kamikaze drones.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
“At night, the Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, using 13 Shahed-type UAVs. Ukrainian air defence forces and means destroyed 10 UAVs,” the message says.
Commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleshchuk confirmed the results of the night air defense work. According to him, the launches were from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Air defence operated in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions.
Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare systems of the Air Force were brought in to repel the attack.
In total, over the past 24 hours, the invaders carried out five missile and 74 air strikes.
The Russians also carried out 152 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
