Occupants attacked Ukraine with missiles and "shaheds" at night: Ukrainian air defence shoots down 26 UAVs

On the night of March 28, Russian invaders attacked regions of Ukraine with missiles and 28 suicide bombers from the Black Sea, Crimea and Kursk region. Air defence forces shot down 26 drones.

Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported this on Telegram.

“On the night of March 28, 2024, the enemy launched a missile and air strike on Ukraine using three X-22 cruise missiles and an X-31P anti-radar missile (from the Black Sea), an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile (Donetsk region) and 28 attack missiles UAV type Shahed-136/131 (launch area Kursk region - Russian Federation, Cape Chauda - Crimea).

According to him, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare equipment of the Defence Forces were involved in repelling the strike.

The commander said that 26 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type were destroyed within the Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions.
