Odesa Customs is headed by an experienced official of the Ministry of Justice

The new head of Odesa Customs is Yuriy Cherdyntsev, who previously worked in the justice system and the State Property Fund.

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine agreed on the appointment of Yuriy Cherdyntsev, head of the specialized laboratory for examination and research of the State Customs Service, as temporary acting head of the Odesa Customs.

Yuriy Cherdyntsev is from Odesa. He graduated from school No. 56 and the forensic and prosecutorial faculty of the Law Academy. Before his appointment, he held the position of director of the special laboratory for examination and research of the State Customs Service, and even earlier he headed the department of management of state-owned enterprises of the State Property Fund, the Odesa Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, and was deputy head of the main territorial department of justice in the Odesa region. Doctor of Philosophy in Law.

The previous head of customs, Serhiy Grinchishyn, was fired from his post earlier.
