What losses did the soldiers of the 3rd Brigade inflict on the occupiers near Avdiivka in March?
For a month, the Russian military suffered heavy losses in personnel and military equipment in the Avdiivka direction. Ukrainian fighters wiped out the enemy against the strong defences of their units, the 3rd Brigade said.
Soldiers of the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted losses on the Russian army of three thousand invaders during March in the Avdiivka direction of the Donetsk region.
This was reported by the press service of the 3rd Special Brigade on Telegram.
“During March, fighters of the Third Assault continuously destroyed, burned equipment and wiped out Russian forces against the strong defenses of our units,” the message says.
The 3rd Specialized Brigade noted that a month of fighting near Avdiivka cost the Russians losses that were equal in number to a full-fledged brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, namely:
- 1033 Russians killed;
- 1796 occupiers were wounded.
Moreover, the fighters liquidated the battalion control and observation post and a large amount of military equipment, namely:
- 8 tanks destroyed, 11 damaged;
- 15 armored fighting vehicles were destroyed, 8 were damaged;
- 34 vehicles were destroyed, 9 were damaged;
- 14 mortars and artillery were destroyed, 26 were damaged;
- 6 LNG, AGS, ATGMs were destroyed, 3 were damaged.
The Ukrainians were also able to land 453 Russian FPV drones using electronic warfare and destroyed six of the latest unmanned aerial vehicles. Six BC trains were also liquidated.
