Occupants in Crimea destroy the Chersonesos Tavriya nature reserve
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, illegal construction is taking place on the territory of the Chersonesos Tavriya Reserve, which violates its authenticity.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Center reported this in a Telegram .
“The occupiers are destroying the very territory of the UNESCO site: they are erecting propaganda installations, carrying out illegal construction, and violating authenticity. Pseudo-historical excursions are being conducted to justify Russia’s rights to these lands,” the report says.
It is noted that, under the pretext of opening a monastery, the Russian Orthodox Church seeks to seize a cultural world heritage site. In particular, Metropolitan Tykhon Shevkunov was involved in this.
The center adds that the destruction of the reserve is another act of Russian barbarity.
