General Staff: AFU neutralised 850 occupants and 45 enemy armoured personnel carriers over a day

The Ukrainian defence forces yesterday destroyed 209 units of weapons and military equipment of the invading Russian army. During combat missions, the defenders eliminated and wounded at least 850 invaders.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, about 449,250 Russian troops have been killed on Ukrainian soil. Data on enemy losses on April 9 were reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian soldiers have neutralized 45 armored combat vehicles (13,620 in total), 30 artillery systems (11,386), 23 tanks (7,110) and two air defense systems (753) of the Russian Armed Forces.

The sky defenders shot down 37 Russian operational-tactical level UAVs (all 9033). The fighters also burned 71 units of enemy vehicles and tankers (a total of 15,181), and one of special equipment (1,868).

In addition, during the war, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down 2065 cruise missiles, 347 aircraft, 325 helicopters, destroyed 1039 MLRS, sank 26 ships/boats and one submarine of the Russian Army.
