On the night of April 9, the Russian Federation attacked energy infrastructure facilities in the Poltava and Lviv regions; electricity consumption restrictions are applied in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

It is noted that over the past 24 hours, due to network restrictions on the lines of the transmission system operator, shutdown schedules were applied in the Kharkiv region. On the morning of April 9, shutdown schedules are also in effect in the Kharkiv region.

“At night, the enemy attacked a high-voltage substation in the Poltava region - a fire broke out on the territory, which was extinguished by the State Emergency Service, there were no casualties. There was damage to the equipment.”

A high-voltage substation in the Lviv region was also attacked, and equipment caught on fire. There were no casualties. Inspection and clarification of the consequences of the night attacks continues,” the statement said.

In addition, due to hostilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, two high-voltage overhead lines were simultaneously switched off, and an industrial facility was de-energized. Now all consumers are powered.

In the Mykolaiv region, due to equipment damage, a high-voltage substation was switched off, and household consumers were de-energized.

It is added that for the current day the import of electricity is predicted to be 1781 MWh. It is also planned to export up to 345 MWh.
