SSU and NABU exposed the scheme of theft of funds allocated for the purchase of fuel

The Main Department of Internal Security and SSU investigators, in collaboration with detectives from the National Bureau, exposed a scheme to steal funds allocated for the purchase of fuel for the needs of the service in 2022.

According to the investigation, the former head of the Department of Economic Support of the SSU and his first deputy organized the purchase of fuels and lubricants at artificially inflated prices due to a number of controlled companies. As a result, more than UAH 26 million in damage was caused.
