UN Security Council to meet over Iran’s attack on Israel

Earlier, Israel asked the Security Council to condemn the Iranian attack and declare the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization. The estimated time of the meeting is 16:00 Eastern time (22:00 Kyiv time), the diplomat said on Saturday on condition of anonymity.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan previously appealed to the Security Council with a request to hold an emergency meeting.

"The Iranian attack poses a serious threat to global peace and security, and I expect the Council to use all means to take concrete measures against Iran," Erdan said.
