Voloshyn noted that the top leadership of the aggressor state set the occupiers the task of capturing Chasiv Yar by May 9.
“This is their certain symbolism,” the speaker explained.
He said that near the specified settlement the enemy is attacking around the clock in small groups, accompanied by artillery and aviation. At the same time, the Defence Forces inflict damage on the enemy in manpower and equipment.

As Voloshin noted, given the complication of the situation, “the management made the appropriate decisions.” He assured that Ukraine will have time to strengthen the front with electronic warfare and air defense systems, which was also discussed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky.
According to the Colonel General, the Defense Forces are currently working to improve the quality of training, in particular the moral and psychological component of the troops. The command is focused on increasing the number of high-tech UAVs with trained operators, improving the quality of asymmetric actions to reduce the combat potential of the Russian Army.
