Ex-People’s Deputy Demchak put on the wanted list

The SAPO and NABU put former MP from the BPP Ruslan Demchak on the wanted list following the HACCU decision.

The politician did not appear to be served with the notice of suspicion. Demchak, according to the investigation, received compensation for renting a house in Kyiv, although he had a private house in Kryukiv district, near Kyiv. This house was registered in his father’s name, but the politician used it. According to the NABU and the SAPO, the former MP illegally received about UAH 225,000 in compensation. The politician was notified of the suspicion in absentia, as his whereabouts have not been established. He is charged with committing an offence under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code.

Earlier, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported suspicions to ex-People’s Deputy Demchak of manipulation on the stock exchange and legalization of property obtained by criminal means.
