NABU will investigate in absentia the case of People’s Deputy Dubnevych

The HACC allowed the NABU and SAPO to conduct a special pre-trial investigation into MP Yaroslav Dubnevych.

The editors learned about this through a court ruling in case No. 52018000000000546.

Dubnevych is wanted on suspicion of committing criminal offenses under Part 3 of Art. 27 hours 5 tbsp. 191, part 3 art. 27 hours 3 tbsp. 209 of the Criminal Code.

The investigating judge granted permission to conduct a special pre-trial investigation. Earlier, Yaroslav Dubnevych was served a notice of suspicion as the organiser of a scheme to misappropriate natural gas worth over UAH 2.1 billion and legalise the proceeds of crime. This is a case of gas embezzlement at Novoyavorivska and Novorozdolska CHP plants, which has been ongoing since 2018.
