Defenders of Ukraine destroy "Hiacynth-S" in the occupied south

Warriors of the Defence Forces destroyed an enemy 152-mm hull self-propelled gun 2S5 "Giacynth-S" in the occupied territory of southern Ukraine. They managed to hit it using the HIMARS artillery system.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An "explosive" video of the attack on enemy weapons was also published.

The MTR said that operators of the 73rd Marine Center of the Special Operations Forces discovered the Hiacynth during reconnaissance operations in the south.

The coordinates of the target were promptly transferred to the missile and artillery unit of the Defense Forces.

“The enemy’s gun managed to fire only a few shots. After which it was completely destroyed by HIMARS fire,” the SOF statement says.
