Situation at the front: 88 military clashes occurred in 24 hours

During the day on April 27, the Russian occupation army continued to attack along the entire front line. A total of 88 military clashes were recorded in different directions.

The most active hostilities continue in the Novopavlivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Lyman sectors. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the morning of 28 April.

"During the day, Putin’s troops launched 32 missile and 64 air strikes, fired 60 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and settlements. At night, the occupiers attacked Ukraine once again, using 4 Shahed drones and 5 unidentified UAVs. The Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed all Shahed UAVs and 1 UAV of an unspecified type.

The settlements of Strilecha, Synelnykove, Vovchanski Khutory in Kharkiv region; Serebryanske forestry, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region were hit by air strikes; Terny, Yampolivka, Oleksandro-Shultine, Spirne, Chasiv Yar, Druzhba, Oleksandropil, Shcherbynivka, Semenivka, Yevhenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novokalynove, Arkhangelske, Novozhelanne, Karlivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka, Vodiane, Urozhayne, Staromayorske in Donetsk region; Krynky, Ivanivka, Kizomys in Kherson region.

More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remains unchanged.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi sectors, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas and conducts subversive activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas.

In the Kupyansk sector, our troops repelled 13 attacks in the vicinity of Kyslivka, Berestove, Kopanky in Kharkiv region and Novoyehorivka and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy conducted 14 attacks in the areas of Nevske and Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region and Terniv in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, our troops repelled 8 attacks in the areas of Spirne, Vyymka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka and Novyi in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 35 attacks in the vicinity of Novokalynove, Keramik, Umanske and Netaylove in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian defence forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Vodiane, Paraskoviivka and west of Pobeda in Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops 13 times.

In the Orikhiv sector, the occupants attacked the positions of our defenders twice near Staromayorske in Donetsk region and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhya.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations during the past 24 hours.

At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict damage to the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire line of combat.

During the day, Defence Forces aircraft carried out strikes on 16 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. The missile force units hit the enemy’s control center and two radar stations.
