HACC changed the measure of restraint for ex-MP Mykytas who embezzled money from the Ministry of Defence
The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has changed the measure of restraint for former MP and property developer Maksym Mykytas, who is suspected of misappropriating property worth millions of hryvnias from house arrest to bail in the amount of UAH 908,000.
This was reported by the HACC press service.
It is noted that the court partially granted the request of the SAPO prosecutor, changing the measure of restraint in the form of house arrest to a measure of restraint in the form of bail. The bail amount is UAH 908,400.
Mykytas is also subject to the following obligations
- to appear at every request of the investigator (detective), prosecutor and court;
- to notify the investigator (detective), prosecutor or court of any changes in his place of residence and place of work;
- refrain from communicating with persons specified in the court order;
- to deposit their passport(s) for travelling abroad and other documents entitling them to leave and enter Ukraine with the relevant state authorities;
- wear an electronic control device.
The validity period of the determination regarding his assigned duties is 2 months.
