According to the head of the Foreign Ministry, the Ukrainian military is “starving” due to a shortage of artillery shells, and their positions are being destroyed.
Despite all the efforts of Western partners, aid supplies to Ukraine are “behind schedule.”
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this in an interview with Foreign Policy.
“There is a time gap between the announcement of the package and the moment when the Ukrainian artilleryman will receive more shells to fire back at the Russian occupiers. And this moment has not yet arrived because everything that was announced is still on the way. And in this time period they may terrible things will happen, in particular, the offensive of Russian troops on the ground,” Kuleba noted.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy added that Ukrainian defenders are “starving” for lack of artillery shells, and their positions are being destroyed. Therefore, in war conditions, not only the quantity and quality of what is provided, but also the delivery time is important.
"When I look at Russia’s achievement in rebuilding its military-industrial base, and at the West’s achievement, we must face the truth and admit that the Russian Federation is more effective in its military efforts. And this raises the main question for the West. If it cannot be effective enough in this particular military operation, how effective can it be if wars and crises of the same magnitude break out? – the minister added.
