The occupiers tried to recapture the island of Nestryha - Pletenchuk

The Russian occupiers again tried to capture the island of Nestryha, which Ukrainian defenders had recently returned to Ukrainian control. The invaders also stormed the southern direction 9 times.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the commentary by the head of the Center for Strategic Communications of the Southern Defence Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during the telethon.

As Pletenchuk noted, the enemy is trying to increase pressure in the Staromayorsk district. There, the invaders tried three times to storm the positions of the Ukrainian defenders, during which they lost four tanks. The situation in Rabotino is also quite complicated.

"The enemy attacked Krynky twice and again tried to capture the island of Nestryha," – said Pletenchuk.

He added that from the beginning of these days the assaults on Krynky and the islands continued and noted that this morning the Russians had already dropped 6 CABs.

At the same time, he informed that no significant changes in the nature of the enemy’s actions had been identified, as well as signs of the creation of offensive groups.
