Occupants tried to storm Nestryha island on a jet ski - Defence Forces
The Russian occupiers are continuing their attempts to seize Nestryha Island in the Kherson region. This time, the invaders used a jet ski to storm the island, but were destroyed by Ukrainian troops.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Center for Strategic Communications of the Defence Forces of Southern Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a telethon.
“They (the Russians - Ed.) have already used a jet ski, it’s something new. But it didn’t help them either. The number of people in Russian uniforms with a blue tan on the shore of this island is only growing, because they are forced to carry out assault operations from water, “but this is an open place and it’s much more difficult there,” Pletenchuk said.
According to him, it is possible that the occupiers will repeat and intensify these attempts, increasing the amount of equipment that will be used for assaults.
“Because for them it is a loss both in a propaganda sense and in a tactical sense. Because this is the right bank. And they want such a small bridgehead there,” Pletenchuk added.
