Units of the Defence Forces blocked the assault groups of the Russian occupation army, which broke into the city of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region.

This was reported by the speaker of the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortiytsia", Lieutenant Colonel Nazar Voloshyn, on Army TV, quoted by Army Inform.

According to the officer, enemy groups are cut off from supplies of ammunition.

“The enemy broke into the city in small assault groups and settled in the territory of the refractory plant. Through the efforts of our units, including the 59th brigade, the enemy was blocked, and he is still there.

Our defenders have complete fire control over Krasnohorivka and the surrounding area. Over the past 24 hours, the defenders destroyed about 30 enemies on the approaches to Krasnohorivka.

Details : Voloshyn also said that the enemy is carrying out assaults near the village of Netailove and is trying to storm the eastern part of Pervomaiske.

“At Nevelske they also come in small groups, counterattack, and our soldiers fight them off,” the speaker added.
