The occupiers made a breakthrough in the defense of one of the Ukrainian units, which had exhausted its resources for a long time.

Russian troops advanced in the Donetsk region in the area of the village of Veseloye, near Netaylove and south of Pervomaiske. This was reported by analysts from the DeepState resource.

“The enemy was advancing in the area of the village of Vesele. These changes clarify and reflect the enemy’s advance over a long period of time. This area is non-public and it is quite difficult to clarify the information,” the message says.

Analysts reported that the situation at the front is difficult and tends to deteriorate due to the heavy pressure from Russian troops. The occupants are trying to break through the positions of Ukrainian troops along the entire stretch from Razdolivka to Bilohorivka.

In particular, the enemy has concentrated units of the airborne division and has recently been actively attacking in the Vesely area, moving along the railway east of the village. There the invaders broke through the defence of one of the Ukrainian units, which had exhausted its resources for a long time. It is reported that in general the Ukrainian brigade, which has been stationed in this area for more than a year without rotation, is holding on with all its strength.

Attempts of enemy assaults in the area of Bilohorivka, Zolotarivka and Verkhnekamyanka were also recorded. The invaders are trying to break through to the city of Siversk to cut off the Siverskyi salient for further advancement. In particular, to enter the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Serebryansk forestry. However, the enemy fails to do so.

According to analysts, the main force of the Russians is infantry, which they are literally throwing at the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The fighting in the area is very dynamic, with positions changing hands. The occupiers do not miss the opportunity to present each temporary occupation of a position in the media as a "great" breakthrough.

Later, DeepState updated the map and reported that the enemy had advanced near Netaylove and south of Pervomayske. The area of Staromayorske and the Russian advance in recent weeks near Vesele were also clarified.
