The acting director general of Ukrainian Distribution Networks, Artem Martynyuk, says that the government is discussing raising electricity tariffs for households.
Ukraine needs more than a billion dollars to prepare for the next autumn-winter period.
“There are certain discussions today; it will be adopted at the level of the National Electricity Regulatory Commission. In my opinion, we may still have to face an increase in tariffs. Today, our internal sources are not enough; neighboring countries and donors are helping us,” - Martynyuk said.
