Western analysts believe that Ukrainian naval drones equipped with missiles may have been involved in the destruction of valuable Russian A-50 aircraft.
Ukrainian Defence Forces are using drones equipped with air-to-air missiles in the Black Sea. Increasing the number of these drones will make attacks on the territory of Ukraine more dangerous for aviation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The Belgian portal 7sur7 writes about this.
Recently, a video appeared online showing a Russian helicopter destroying a Ukrainian naval drone equipped with missiles. The publication believes that these could be Vympel R-73 (AA-11 "Archer") or Vympel R-60 (AA-8 "Aphid") missiles. These are Soviet military missiles that are still used by both Ukraine and Russia. Pictures taken by the Russians show that one of two missiles was fired. The drone was allegedly destroyed after participating in the strike on Crimea.
