Footage of evacuation from the border town of Bilopillya in Sumy region appears online
Evacuations continue in the border town of Bilopillya in Sumy region. On the morning of 14 May alone, about 40 people left their homes.
All evacuees were taken to Sumy, they will spend the first night in social housing, and later they will be resettled in more suitable conditions. Radio Liberty reports this.
The publication’s correspondent showed a video from Belopolye, which recorded the evacuation of civilians from the village. Children, elderly people, men and women are forced to leave their homes.
“About 40 people were evacuated from there this morning. Everyone will be taken to Sumy, they will spend the next night in social housing, and then local authorities will deal with the accommodation,” the message says.
