In Poland, a 48-year-old Ukrainian was killed with particular cruelty. Three Polish citizens were detained, including the boss and colleague of the murdered man.

This was reported by Wiadomosci with reference to the local prosecutor’s office.

The murder took place in Rokichyny. Investigators say the 48-year-old man was brutally murdered and the suspects deliberately set the farm on fire to cover their tracks.

Three people were detained: a 37-year-old and a 34-year-old man and the 35-year-old wife of one of them. The men are charged with murder with extreme cruelty, and the woman is charged with failure to provide assistance to a person in danger and a charge of concealing evidence of a crime.

“One of the two murder suspects confessed and gave a very detailed explanation. The suspect indicated a motive for the murder, but, in our opinion, it is so irrational and divorced from reality that we continue to investigate it,” prosecutor Patrick Wegner said in a media comment.

According to journalists, those arrested are the owner of the farm, his wife and one of the workers. The victim also worked on this farm, the publication claims. According to unofficial information, the victim’s body was dismembered with an ax.

“The Ukrainian worked on this farm for at least several months. Investigators are still trying to figure out whether he received money or just food and accommodation. It is known that he did not have an employment contract,” the publication writes.
