Lithuania will transfer to Ukraine six AMBER-1800 radar systems with a radius of about 350 kilometers.
This was announced by German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius after a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart Laurynas Kasciunas in Berlin.
Lithuania has joined the German "Immediate Air Defence Action" initiative. This initiative is aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s air defence.
According to Pistorius, the transfer of six AMBER-1800 radar systems associated with the initiative is Lithuania’s contribution to saving lives in Ukraine.
“Thank you also for your participation in our air defence initiative,” the minister said, addressing Kasciunas.
